• This session in Les Houches School is in priority addressed to graduate students and postdocs in Astrophysics of any nationality. Permanent researchers are also welcome.
  
  
• The session will take place at Les Houches School of Physics, from the 12th to the 17^th of June 2022. Key deadlines and fees are summarized below. 

• [2022 EDIT - IMPORTANT]: this session was initially due to take place in March 2019, and was cancelled due to the global sanitary situation. We will try to give a place in our session to all the candidates that were accepted in 2019 and who are still interested in attending the session. We are in the process of making a census of these students. If you are not in this case, please follow the procedure described in the next paragraph. There is a major change in the organization that concerns all possible participants: we have to reshuffle our funding offer for participants, so we ask all the applicants to indicate to us if they would like to benefit from funding from us. This must be done by email addressed to isss-leshouches at phys.ens.fr.

• [For candidates that were not selected in 2019]: The number of participants is limited to 50. We expect to have to make a selection among all potential attendants. This is why we ask all applicants to send a small text of intent (between 5 and 10 lines), presenting your research interests, the particular project or subject for which you wish to attend the session, and a few words to explain your motivation to do so. Consequently, a notification of application to the session and this text of intent must be addressed to isss-leshouches at phys.ens.fr.

• [For candidates that were not selected in 2019]: Financial support will be attributed to selected students. Our intention is to waive the accomodation costs for successfull applicants. To the participants who wish to benefit from this funding, we kindly ask to join a brief (typically one-page) CV to their email containing the application notification and the text of intent addressed to isss-leshouches at phys.ens.fr.  

• We kindly ask the participants who are on a particular diet to specify it in the application email. The Les Houches school can accomodate most of them.

Accomodations and fees

All participants will be staying at Les Houches School of Physics in individual bedrooms. The total costs of accommodation and meals during the school is 498 euros to be paid at the check-in. These costs include all expenses from dinner on Sunday, June 12 to lunch on Friday, June 17.
